If you’re worried about the art of makeup application, you can rest assured that we have the answers. Makeup can be a difficult business! Apply too much and you end up looking like Bozo’s ugly stepsister, apply too little and you’re in danger of looking like you just woke up. The key to applying makeup is to study your face and emphasize your positive features. If your eyes have star quality, then help illuminate them. If you have a great mouth, then make it you monument.

Lips
Lipstick should never be applied until you’ve brushed your lips with a toothbrush to get rid of flakes, dabbed a concealer on you lips to neutralize the surface and outlined you lips with a liner. After you were sure not to stray from the edges with the liner, you should fill in your lips with a matching lipstick. The result will be a perfectly kissable pout.

Skin
You should first apply a moisturizer your make skin look soft, radiant, and smooth. Next choose a foundation that closely matches your skin tone and apply with a makeup sponge to even out your complexion. A dusting a pressed or bronzed powder should come next and you can finish by applying a rosy blush.

Eyes
Depending on how strong a lipstick color you’ve chosen, eyes should always balance the face. If your lipstick is dark and bright, you probably will want to play down your eyes with little or no eye makeup. But, if you choose a light lipstick, you can create a dramatic, eye-opening look. Apply concealer around your eyes and lids to prime the eyes. Then completely outline the eye with brown liner and add mascara. When applying mascara, make sure to wipe off any extra buildup on the brush to prevent the eyelashes from clumping.
